Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and developed a passion of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial attempt she made her skills, she placed second in 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school in 2003, and signed with Adidas a contract as a professional athlete. In the following year, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. The year 2005 was the time she was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 across her diverse races at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
